The dining room with its vaulted ceiling and elaborate plaster work is at the heart of the house. It opens to a courtyard facing Craggy Circle with its tall arched columns, tiled patio and stone fountain. The original floor still has a hole in the floor where the hostess could tap a button to summon the staff when ready for the next course at dinner.
